I have a question that has been confusing me since i picked up the book a while ago, but it never came up i game, but it may in the game I am going to be running soon. It is about Regeneration, specifically about how amputated limbs recover. Begingin at level 7, a character can regain the use of thier amputated limbs. They read as follows:
7 - Cleanly amputated limbs recover if placed on the stump within one week
8 - As above, but within five days
9 - As above, but within three days.
10 - As above, but withing one day.
11 - Any amputated limb recovers if placed on the stup within a week
12 - As above, but within three days.
13 - As above, but within one day.
14 - Any amputated limb recovers if placed on the stump within several hours.
15 - Any amputated limb recovers imediatly if placed on the stump within one Turn.
So with the exception of Regen 15, it is not clear if the period of time is 1) how long it takes to recover, or 2) how long you have to put the limb back on the stump.
If it is the logical choice, 1) how long it takes to recover, then we don't know how long we have to actualy put it on the stump in order for it to still be viable.
If it is 2) How long you have to put the limb back on the stump, it means that you have a longer period of time to put the limb abck on the lower your Regeneration is. Plus, we also have no idea how long it actualy takes to recover.
So the question is, which is the right answer 1) how long the limb takes to recover, or 2) how long you have to reatach the limb. And then, what would the other value be, that is if it is 1) How long do you have to put the limb back to the stup, and if it is 2) how long does it take for the limb to recover once you have retached it.
