Possible Loop Hole?

By HallowKnight, in Talisman

Ok friends, help me defeat this loophole with the rules. (please no house rule suggestions to defeat it)

Hearth Rune: Instead of your normal move, you may teleport to your start space. You must then ditch the Hearth Rune on the space that you moved from.

Under normal circumstances this card is self explanitory, but hear is the funky part.

What if you are all ready on your start location? hear is what happens...

(1)Priest is on the Chapel. He uses the hearth stone to skip normal movement and go to his start location...The chapel.

(2)The hearth stone is left in the space he teliported from...The chapel. (keep in mind this is not technicaly Ditching.

(3)He may now follow instructions on the space. (heal for free)

(4) He may now take any objects in the space. (grabs hearth stone)

(5) next turn he has, repeat.

Imaging a character being able to do this constiantly in the grave yard? or Ruins space? or the enchantress?(a little risky) depending on the characters starting location.

I don't know, would this part kick in?

"They may never encounter anything in the space where
they start their move." (p. 9)

Maybe the char isn't considered to have moved, thus doesn't encounter the space.

I think you might be wrong on point 2. The card says you must ditch the rune to use it - meaning you can't pick it back up - so you have to loophole in the first place!

The rules confirm what ameritrasher says (page 16):

Ditching Followers and Objects
A character may ditch any of his Followers or Objects at any time by leaving them faceup in the space he occupies. If a character ditches any Followers or Objects, he cannot take them back during the same turn.

Card says you must ditch the Rune. This makes your action no.4 illegal.
