Players in Hampshire UK

By Tallgeese, in CoC General Discussion

Looking for players in Hampshire UK, idealy near Aldershot, but can travel. There are four of us who have just started and as I am a tournament organiser for an other FFG card game I will be looking to get in to running tournaments for this too. We already have plans to start up the league programme, just need to get the kit shipped over to the UK. So if there is anyone around please give me a shout and we can get some games going.

Aside from the guys in St. Neots I don't know anyone else in the UK who's playing the game. Despite lurking for quite a while I still haven't found anyone in London to play with, and I'm reluctant to start trekking to competitive events when I've hardly played and my decks are so lame...

oops (these forums suck *so* bad)

We sell out virtually immdeiately we get the game in at work, we distribute it to the stores, so somebody is playing it some where........... happy.gif

As for lame decks, we are new dude, how lame do you think our decks are? gran_risa.gif

Hey, I'm in Fleet which is really close to Aldershot, so I can play.

Hey, that would be awsome, the more the merrier.............. happy.gif

We are looking at running the league, and eventually tournaments, in the River Wey Cafe in Alton. We decided against the Games Shop as my better half runs the cafe and plays too, it's means Bacon Butties on demand too .............. happy.gif

As we are a bit lacking in a pm system, my email address is [email protected] , drop me a line and we can sort something out.

That would be my fellow cultists and I. Its a bit of a way to travel (I thought Aldershot was a lot closer than you are) but you never know. We're holding events on the 22nd of Feb and March, if you can make it for the day. You'd be more than welcome.

I'd love to get to see you and Colin, but after today's little accident with sending the delivery to the wrong place I think he woudl strangle me at the minute ...... happy.gif

I'll try and get to one of them the other Colin.......................... happy.gif

LOL. I was susprised to have a random order arrive. He's never there on a Sunday so he'd never know.

It would be good to see you. Depending when you host yours, I'll try and get some guys to drive down for a game.

I've travelled from London to St. Neots. It's quite doable, as far as I can remember. I went by train, although the train system in the UK is quite baffeling to me... :D

It's baffling to us as well.

I'm used to trains to have some schedule which they at least try to stick to. So, when I asked what platform the train would leave from they said that they would know when the train has arrived. O_o; There is no plan at all! And they actually do have a platform 9 3/4 on Kings Cross Station. And it took half an hour just to get a ticket... I think I spend more time actually getting a ticket than travelling.

But I ended up in St. Neots that day, so... :D
