Winter is upon us.
What better time to hunker down for some Game of Thrones battling.
In fact, it's a perfect storm of a weekend: There's no LoB to clash with. The usual venue is free for as long as we want it (no Xmas parties later). The new Lannister box should be with us. And Tagore and Chris will probably have all of the insane new tech from Stahleck to show us.
As usual, we'll settle in for games starting at midday, melees (multiplayer games) to start with, with people pairing off into jousts (1v1 games) as the day goes on (should they wish), or just sticking to melee carnage. Carriages at around 5.00 - 6.00pm.
As ever, new players are more than welcome. No previous experience of the game is necessary, all of us are more than happy to teach rules and loan cards if required.
P.S. We've had quite a few new joiners recently, so I'll pack a bag with some stripped-down 'starter' type decks if people who haven't played much/at all want to start off with some powered-down learner games.
P.P.S. If I get the time, I'll throw together a few ridiculous decks made out of insane old cards (and/or a fat Baratheon 'Civil War' type deck, which should be fairly nedly). I figure that a melee with them might be an interesting thing to see.
