Lannister deck questions

By Jvfan, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Hello,

I'm new but loving the game. Just having trouble figuring out the Lannister deck so would like some clarification:

1. Ser Ilyn Payne : Kneel Ser Ilyn Payne to choose and kill a character with STR 2 or lower...I'm assuming choose and opponents character?

2. Cersei's Attendant - After Cersei Lannister or Cerseis Attendant is killed choose and kneel a character..again, is it apponents or a lannister character that gets choosen

3. Enemy Informer..After you play Enemy Informer froum your hand, choose and kneel a character..again..lannister or opponent.

4. Bronn - Pay 2 gold to choose a character. Until the end of the phase, if that character would be killed and Bronn is kneeling stand Bronn instead of killing that character..this one just confuses me

Thanks for your help

If the effect doesn't specify that you must choose an opponent's character, you don't have to. Thus, you could kneel/killone of your own characters in scenarios 1 to 3. Of course, the most practical use is to choose one of your opponent's character (so s/he gets hurt by your decision) but still, you get to choose the character you want.

As for Bronn, he's just amazing. Consider you are about to lose a military challenge as the defender and Bronn is knelt. You can pay 2 gold to stand Bronn instead of killing one of your characters. That's basically how it works.

Right on, that helps alot :) Thanks!

I assume that an opponent's Cersei Lannister dying would trigger Cersei's Attendant (but an opponent's Cersei's Attendant wouldn't, because of the self-reference).

Correct. Cersei's Attendent is only self-referential to herself, not to Cersei.
