The Grand Melee was released 2 weeks earlier than I expected. Do Deluxe Expansions normally get released earlier than you expect?

Amazon.com had The Grand Melee release date set for 11/30 and the same exact date for Lions of the Rock. May we expect this to be released sooner than that?

I'm just impatient and wondering. :-)

At this point Jaffer and/of somebody in Production or Marketing (VP Steve was playing) would probably be the best indicator. I'm just wishing I'd taken a phot of the cards on display to see if I could check the 1/8" of card art that was viewable against old versions to see what was a reprint. :/

They will probably be releasing one or two more spoilers for it anyhow. As of right now we've only been spoiled on a few cards. There is something about 7 new plot cards that gets me excited since those are normally what makes or breaks a deck and game.

Yeah, I saw 90% of the expansion (they were nice enough to lay them out at least partially not on top of each other at Days of I&F). The plots are VERY strong, and there are some bomb cards to be sure as well. Some nice classics as well, many of which are needed for many Lanni builds.

When you say "saw" Matt, do you mean that you got inside the glass case (or at another copy)? Or are you only sure of the front 3-4... and we're surmising what the remaining titles represent (reprints, new versions, or "upgrades")?

Can anyone spoil some of the traits in Lions of the Rock? We know Clansman is going to have a huge roll, but what about some primary or secondary traits?

For example -

Queen of Dragons had a Dothraki(4), Dragon(6), and Army(4) character focus. There were also 2 Maester characters in the expansion.

Traits are probably going to be..... Dwarfs / Killers / Incestuous xD

With the exception of maybe 3 or 4 cards, the only things visible were Title/Cost/Affiliation.

Honestly, I just want Clansmen. If I opened Lions of the Rock to discover that it was just 55 new cards for my Clansman deck, I would be perfectly content. I think the theme could get a pretty decent boost if all we get is the new Tyrion and Crawn, but I can't wait to find out what else is in the box Clansman-wise.

I'd like to see some more useful Infamy cards

i.e. like New Jaime, Devan etc. where the power on the card actually DOES something, rather than just hiding from Power Challenges until the character dies.

Reprint of Castamere anyone?
