Redeucer's Dark Heresy Character Sheet

I'm not going to try and copy everything over from the thread in the old forums, but here is a new one. This is an Excel spreadsheet, but if you do not have Excel, have no fear! It is compatible with Open Office (a free productivity suite that includes Word and Excel functionality which can be found HERE ).

Version 9d:

  • Corrected weapons chart error that brought up the wrong information for Mariette.
  • Added the calculation for Lightning Reflexes and redid the Initiative Calculation to make things simpler.

If you have any problems, find any mistakes, or would like to see any additions or changes, drop me an e-mail or post them here. I can't promise how fast I will get them. It all depends on RL and what I have time to do, but I will see what I can do.

I have had two requests (one from the old forum, one from one of the players in my group) to add page numbers to the weapons and the psychic powers. The second one is easy. The first one will be a little harder with everything being so haphazardly laid out in the IH. The Psychic powers I will probably even be able to add to the main character sheet. The weapons will only be added to the table. It might take a bit, but I'll see what I can do.

Revision 10:

  • Added Page numbers for Psyker powers to the main character sheet to help facilitate looking them up.
  • Added page numbers to the weapons and armor tables on Data2 to help facilitate looking them up.
  • Inquisitors Handbook Ammo and Weapons Upgrades added. Still need a little work, but should be functional as is.
  • Various small formatting changes to help facilitate sheet usage

    Let me know if you find any more problems or anything else you would like to see added.

you are gonna hate me by the time I finish playing with your sheets....

Would it be possible to add a (semi) final ballistic/weapon skill into each of the weapon slots? ie: I have a BS of 35, a best quality weapon (+10) and a red -dot (+10). Easy enough to do by hand, but would be great if there was a spot for it on the sheet.

Don't feel bad about bringing these things to my attention. That is exactly why I created the thread and made the file available. It will only get better if I get input. And I'm not perfect. I miss things (especially in IH) and it is nice to have extra eyes to help me find them.

Bloody Edge Trait will definitely be in the next 10a. I already have it added in.

The WS and BS calculations per weapon is a bit harder. The calculations are the easy part, it's finding room to put it in the already tight space that causes a problem.

And there is an edit function, but it expires after a certain amount of time.

Advancement tables:

It would be good to have the elite/advanced replacement tables on your advancement list. I'm lazy and really like having all the tables in one easy place (perhaps with the requirements for each replacement on the table also?)

Revision 11:

  • Weapons now have their associated skill listed with them with any modifiers to it due to weapons. Sorry it is so small, but it space is tight. I may look at reworking the weapons page again to resolve this in future revisions.
  • Moved Lathe Blade to Craftsmanship so calculations are not doubled for Best and Lathe blades qualities.
  • Updated Advancement Table to include Alternate Career paths as well as Experience and Level information.
  • Added Bloody Edge and Etiquette Traits to the list. They were inadvertently left it out.
  • Added calculation for Primitive/Non-Primitive weapons based on base weapon, ammo, mono, lathe, etc.. The text under Special will now include whether it is Primitive or Non-Primitive for all weapons.

Let me know if you find any more problems or anything else you would like to see added.

So, Redeucer...

When I plug a melee weapon into the section, it doesn't calculate the WS. ranged weapons pop up the ballistic skill with no problem at all.

edit: Advancement tables: you have metallican gunslinger and mechanicus secutor (just the headers) backwards.

Bah... Simple one. Forgot the $ sign for the reference cell. It works for the first weapon, but it breaks after that. 11a is now up.

Very minor changes. Nothing in how it works, just in the documentation on the skills and talents. You can continue to use the existing file without any problems.

Version 11c:

  • Added Skills and Talents Tables.
  • Updated the Advancement Tables.

Don't mean this to be a gratuitous bump, but did want to make sure that anyone new here would know this is out there since it had slipped to page 6.

It would be nice if "someone" [Hint, Hint, Mr. Ross Watson gui%C3%B1o.gif ] could sticky threads like this.

Or sticky a thread where links to these types of threads could be kept.

Or maybe people could put links to threads they want people to see in their signatures, rather than bumping any threads (otherwise why not bump more threads? there's plenty of good threads on the forum people may have missed)

That is something that is already in occurence. But let's say someone newly comes to the forums (and as is often the case does use the Search Function) if they want to know about say Character Sheets they likely will not read through threads and then stumble upon the link in a sig (which Redeucer has btw) they'll probly look at the first couple of threads on the first page and the post a new thread like "Character Sheets?; looking for Char sheets ... ect."

If there was a sticky at the top say for popular topics that seem to crop up a lot, say for example like Character Sheets (where anyone could post links to their own SHeets or DR what have you) then it would likely increase the usefulness, far more than would a sig link, and would probly cut down the number of 'bumping' and 'multi posting' of the same topics over and over again.

Once again, sorry for the gratuitous bump, but wanted to make sure those who were new here could find this.

Great catch! Got it fixed. It will be updated in the 11d version. I'll hold up on it until tomorrow to make sure someone else doesn't find any problems. I also corrected a problem in the Psychic Powers table which will be fixed in the next version.

  • Added Verminspeaker Elite Advance, Traits, Talents, etc. from Creatures Anathema.
  • Added Eldar Weapons from Creatures Anathema.
  • Added Enoulian Weapons from Creatures Anathema.
  • Added Ork Weapons from Creatures Anathema.
  • Added Psychic Powers from Disciples of the Dark Gods (DDG).
  • Added Corsair Weapons from Purge the Unclean.

Once again, thanks for the great character sheet that you constantly update Redeucer. I will make sure to update my groups sheets right away. Thanks for this great resource that you provide for the gms and players.
