Hi everyone,

I'm a long time gamer, just got back into customisable card games with AGoT LCG after a fairly hefty hiatus. I like to build my own decks and I'm pretty happy to lurk in the forum and read deck building and strategy articles, but I was wondering if there's a good write-up anywhere of what each chapter offers? As I understand it each chapter seems to offer a new mechanic or theme. It would be useful to know what these are. I'm also looking for a glossary of common forum terms as I intend to get up to speed on the jargon pretty fast. But I must admit I haven't looked that hard yet; does this forum have sticky threads?

I intend to get pretty involved in the game and have so far picked up: 3 x core and 1 each of the Baratheon, Targaryen and Martell deluxe sets with Stark on order. I've also ordered all of Kings Landing, Brotherhood w/o Banners and Secrets of Old Town chapters plus the first pack from the new set. I was hoping to wait until the rest have been reprinted in the 60 card format before buying them but are there any specific packs that are must-haves?

I've seen that there is a restricted and banned list but does anyone know if there are plans to cycle out older cards at any point? Or will the card pool just grow and grow? I don't want to shell out for the early sets and then find I can't use them in 6 months or something.

Do any particular deck themes jump out as being quite playable from the sets I (will) have? I haven't committed to a favourite house yet but I like the look of Martell Obviously Greyjoy is off the menu for the time being (unless a dip is useful?) as they're not in the core set and I can't seem to lay my hands on their deluxe

As for questions of specific CPs to buy before they get x3 printing, most are specific for the decks you want to build, but Refugees of War is one that is good for pretty much all faction, especially the Refugee characters (0-cost, 2 strength, 2 icon characters for every faction).

There are no CURRENT plans to cycle anything out. They stated when they began the LCG that the intention was to not have rotation, so presumably there won't be any for a good amount of time.
