Promo Cards? Yessssss, I need them.
Happy Talisman day!!
Happy talisman day Jon
Let's hope that we get a lot of expansions in the future!
Just a quick note to say I have not forgotten about the proposed giveaway/competition mentioned above, but have yet to decide on a mechanic for it!
Any suggestions?
Ask Bob Harris and/or Gary Chalk to set a question related to the 1st edition.
I just added this as an afterthought over at BGG...
Actually, I am wondering if I should up the ante somewhat and create a contest of some sort.
If I threw in a copy of Talisman (Fourth Edition): The Dragon Expansion along with the promo cards would it be enough for people to invest a little time in creating something?
I'm thinking maybe something along the lines of a game you can play with the game components of Talisman. Maybe a little dice game, card game or miniature game or combination of the three?
Ponder, ponder, ponder...
I always thought it would be fun to do a "dress up as a character" competition.
That could be hilarious....

Hummm... dressing up as a toad king would be worth it for the fun of it, too bad it's not an official character.
Chivalric and dread knight can be a challenge as horse are not easy to come by but not as much as the dragon rider would be!
I guess photoshop or other photo editing software is a must in those cases.
