I was talking to my friend telling him i would like to build a Kazuki deck. Well he told me he don't think it would be worth it. I looked at some of his cards and thought maybe he is right. Is there anyone that plays him or for that mather anyone that thinks i can do a nice build out of him? Any recomendations?

I have listed below very few cards that i found i could "probably" use.

Trying to go off Fire and Good unless recomended otherwise(i can't think of a wining condition though)

if it isn't too much to ask, could you go read the post at the top of this forum labled "deck listing format" and redo your post. I'd help but it's a real pain in the butt when you don't know what all the cards do and the foundations, assets, actions, and attacks are all mixed together.

one card to consider with Kazuki is Fight or Flight... it gives a quick and easy damage pump to compliment his potential for insane speed pumps.

so id say it would be a good idea 2 get the fight or flights 14 damage thunderbolts on your opponents turn after they have started attacking and got there card pool clogged up isnt somethin 2 just sneeze at it sounds like a solid win condition 2 me

okay, so I got some suggestions for you (and much thanks for editing it )

Foundations:
Makai High Noble/Blinding Rage - 6 check, anti olcadan's tech.
No Memories - 4/4 +3M negate's Es which is always good.
Silver Spoon - 4/4 negates keyword abilities, suggestion for the sideboard.
Healer - returns attacks to their printed damage, dual symbols
Fight or Flight - BIG BOOM!

Assets:
Kazuki's weapon asset is hot I remember, I don't know what it does off the top of my head.

Actions:
Kung-Fu Training - This is only a maybe. You're Kazuki, so speed pump's are not an issue. use if you need the R.

Attacks:

This is just in general. You have too many high difficulty attacks. Melencholic Mercurious and Chop are two really solid attacks (and Melencholic uses your White Magic's for momentum gain) with low difficulties. Getting rid of Annihilating Flames is my suggestion since really, it's not that good of an attack.

Yeah i just Picked up 1 of Kazukis weapon yesterday in a trade (first time i saw it) which will turn into a set of 4 soon.

I will pick up a set of fight or Flight, I have plenty of copies of Makai Noble and a few No memories handy, Healer is no Problem at all either got a set. The one i will need to go out of my way to get is Silver spoon since i only have 1. I have not seen Melancholic Mercurius i will look it up and will add chop. Also What about Bitter Rivals?

Do think i Have enought cards as a ratio or should i add more attacks / foundation? i have 88 card deck what should i take out / add/ replace?

My suggestions for cutting out right are:

4x Reunited

4x Headstrong

4x Pillar of Flame

4x Annihilating Flames

try to get yourself down to 60-64 cards max. playtest around, see what you like. Anything that's good in your deck but not needed should be cut down to 3x. Things to look at for reduction would be 2 check attacks and 4 check foundations or foundations with a high difficulty curve. Also, Lynette's Shop should be replaced by Olcadan's Mentoring. Better to get rid of those Holding Ground's and opposing healer's then copying them.

also, don't take anyone's word here for what you should absolutely put in your deck. we're just giving you suggestions that you might not have thought of. It's your deck not ours

also card I totally forgot about that's the #$%* in Kazuki. T. Hawks Strong Punch. 4/3 4M6 basically. much better then chop

If you take out the four thunderbolts and the four sujaku, as well as removing the four different cards quarzark suggest, that will at least put you down to 64 cards, which isn't too bad. I'd still suggest trying to get down to 60 cards if you can.

Checks:
Generally in a deck, you want to keep your checks as high as possible. This means using 3 check attacks whenever possible. Also, you should try to keep your 3 checks and lower down to about 20 cards max (a third of the average deck) and maybe use a maximum of six 2 and 1 checks. As an aggro deck, the attack range you should keep is something in the terms of how you're killing your opponent. Multiple moves is the 16-20 range of attacks, one big move is in the area of 12-16, and less if you're using attacks like Tiger Fury and High Plasma Beam.

Also, you don't need 4x of every card in your deck, only the necessary ones. Take a look at your 4 check foundations and any with a high difficulty or ones the you only need one copy out on the board can be reduced to 3 copies. Same for 5 checks. Cards with lower difficulties or 6 checks can be left 4 copies of. Also, anything that has the Unique keyword means there can only be one copy of the card in your staging area. 4x Sujaku is overkill. You'll find yourself left with extra copies in hand that you can't play because one is already on the field. This is dependent on handsize too. If you can get to it, you only need 1 or 2 copies, but if you have say... a 4 card handsize, 3 copies might be necessary.

doing this sort of stuff isn't something one expects you to know or do right off the bat. It's a learning experience and as you play the game more, you'll get more comfortable knowing what to put in your decks and the copies you need of a card.

yeah i would consider only running 3 of no memories and bitter rivals....3 sujakus(since its unigue) maybe even cut one of the kazama ninja arts

id also cut the pillar of flames altogether milling in ufs is hard if your not completely commited 2 it

Just remember though the best way 2 know what you dont need 4 of is 2 playtest your deck against other people and see what works and what doesnt

Thanks all i really appriciate the feedback. Also as you notice by now i have not added any Ohcs mentorings to the board and that is because i have not been able to get my hands on them. I might be getting one but they are so hard to find specially a set... I will be playtesting the deck this week and report back

I'd still recommend taking out thunderbolt. 12 assets seems a little too high for me, as eight is usually a good number for assets you want in your deck. But then again, this is only what I've found to work for me, so it's only my opinion. Once you get Olcadan's Mentoring, you could put them in your deck in place of Sujaku. Lynette's Shop is a really good card, but if you wanna cut down on your number of assets, that should be the first one to get taken out. Olcadan's and Cessatation should stay in before Lynette's and Sujaku.

Well after test driving it it plays very well. I'm still missing 3 Olcadan's, the 4 fight or flight and the makai high nobles. (there in the mail coming to me right now) even so is still playing very well. Thanks all for the help. I will be posting another deck that i had together for some time already and is really good however the loosing to winning ratio is not good at all.

as suggested id take out the thunderbolts cuz its 2 many attacks if you have the fight or flights you dont need so many attacks and your checking will be better without all the 3 there 2 bring it down

I been thinking about it so far i have not use them in the games. I will keep testing it this week and if find out i don't need them then i will get rid of them. Thanks again

What about cobra blow?

just use the action side of the enhance and i'm sure you'll win games easy

only problem is the 2 check so i dunno if you'd like that.

my friend plays kazuki with the cobra blow on annhilating flames. then coupled with a bunch of speed bump foundations, its just GG

I will check Cobra out for sure come to find out i really don't need the thunderbolts as much. I can get tons of attacks in my hand often enough to worry my opponents

Also i would like to say i love the deck. I bit the best player (my friend) in my local store in which i have not been able to do with any other deck so far since i started playing.
