The void patch to me looks like the following or lose right now ¬_¬:

1. T2 Yun-seong contemplation FTW

2. RYU Senku beats off of blind stance and rat chaser T2.

3. Starter Akuma

4. Zhao daiyu/Jivatma discard.

Honestly don't think Chun-li's gonna do so well before you say anything.

1. Aforementioned RAS deck (I'm thining Domination Ryu, with his deck refilling ability) with beats (Seichu, Kuzuryu, 8th Bill)

3. Starter Ken mill/uberbeats (ability + Rat Chaser + Dark Hado + Jaw Smash, or BLIND STANCE YOUR ENTIRE DECK, BOI)

On the negative, Mr. Mence has 18 vitality and a crappy cc'hack.

On the positve, Mr. Mence has a 7 card hs, in-built momentum gen, a crappy cc'hack and a GLOWING PINK HAND OF DOOOOOOM .

Also finally getting round to playing a Mence deck is kind of cool.

if void had some kind of reliable momentum generation id know what 2 build super fast but the only thing i can come up with is white gi and i dont have any : / .........so im stuck as 2 what 2 build and our tourney is next sunday......

Contemplation/mill in general might work, hmm. Promo Ken and Roam the World in general make it kinda hard to set up any kind of defense, and Ways of Punishment + Reppa is a pretty **** effective offensive combo (I basically get to draw 2 hands and only keep the attacks/support I want ). And Void isn't short on solid cheapo attacks - Hidden Base, Jumping Shotei, Overhead Hop Kick for nonexistant difficulty, Forsaken, Soldier of Sparta and Well-Travelled for high CCs, Yoko Sen Kyaku, Hakkei and Neck Choke for reversals to strip on your opponent's turn, and don't ignore Akuma's BP support. Add Taking the Bait, Repeat Techniques, 8th Bill, Getting an Education, etc...

Experienced Combatant might be important enough to run it in pretty much anyone with 7HS, even if they don't have Order. There is just no other commit or negation control for your opponent's turn.

Taking the Bait Yun-Seong will probably see some play

Ummmmmmmmmmm Voldo+Blind Stance and Hesitation= win?

Also there's a few decent ones. Domination Ken is actually surprisingly good if you can get a few momentum.

Basara should see some play cause he's DAMNED GOOD. What about any of the Ryu's? None of them are bad per say. One that I'm shocked hasn't been mentioned is 2 dot Dan and 3 dot Cammy. Both have built in discard, Cammy has anti asset destruction and Dan commits characters.

Oh yeah. I hear 2 dot Ukyo is kinda good too

Ukyo** IS good, but he rotated out with set 11's release ^^;; as for random momentum gen for Void, look into Guile's new stuff... i personally like Aim High (yay for 1/5s) though its not as effective as White Gi...

I really dont think contemplation will do as well some are saying there are a lot of amazing attacks people can run for this event . I mean you can run voldo or chester and make a mill theme work but I doubt you will see many 7 attack style decks in this format in my opinion.

I just plan on using Infiltrating for some fun times. >_>

Ours will probably be Block 3 as we've already made the change. So I'll probably be playing Jivatma after being impressed by him at a casual event the other day.

Anyways back to Void.

Akuma will be played, 7hs 20vit, the ability to commit your opponent's foundations, and cc hax. Seems good right? Plus if you have White Gi you can use Seclusion.

Zhao Dayiu + Pigeon is yum yum ( Scuba should hook me up with that decklist lol)

Yun-Seong is well we all know him, but more importantly he is Order/Void and can abuse Experience Combatant rather well with Vast, High Tide, Aquakinesis, etc

Jivatma because he is 30vit and has a good ability, and a great Asset.

Basara might be a surprise deck with his effect, and Red Gi, Saikyo-ryu, and White Gi to fuel the Momentum.

Sakura because her effect to reuse.

I love Void, Scott Gaines told me great tales of its prime lol.

So many good characters, and decks.

I would like to see Void make a come back, and a way to deal with Olcadan's other than Experience Combatant.

I will more than likely go for Chun Li, although she can be negated by Preventing the Curse, I will still run her..
