Designer Corey Konieczka offered a few words regarding the content of the FAQ:

Hello Gears of War™ fans! It is my pleasure to present the FAQ document for Gears of War: The Board Game. This document is broken into two sections, Errata and Frequently Asked Questions. The errata section is extremely brief, listing only two minor typos that players should be aware of.

The rest of the document contains Frequently Asked Questions. This includes rules that needed further clarity as well as simple explanations about specific circumstances. There should not be any big surprises in this FAQ, as it mostly reiterates and emphasizes sections of the rulebook.

We hope that this document completely answers your questions, and helps you survive the innumerable Locust Horde.
