Why are they stopping to play exactly might be something we can do to help ...
I think its partially because:
A) We never get any prize support (I didnt even know what a heel snipe is before people posted here)
B) They go tired of making new decks/losing all the time (although it seemed that they never even tried)
C) I think some of us don't like our scout >_>;

A. A lot of people have been complaining about prize support I hear Steve is working on fixing that issue soon .
B. Sometime you have tone down the level of play to get their hopes up to set the playing field even until they are ready to go more competitive .
C. If you scout is doing anything that is unacceptable let Steve know and something will be done this has happened to scouts in the past.

A. lol our prize support hasnt been anything worth having for far too many months >_>;
B. One guy didn't really like to play foundations @_@ and the other person tossed to many cards to try to prevent every single thing from happening >_<
C. Of course we dont have any proof and he's just not the most likeable person. *EDIT*: there was this very awkward thing that happened a while ago that almost made me quit >_<

Man, what happened?! Y'have my e-mail. Hit me up.
Josh isn't a scout anymore; he joined the masses for Dragon Ball. In fact, I don't even know if we have a scout anymore, let alone a group. Let alone customers lol.
Once I move out of my ghetto I think I can attempt to revive it here in SA, but no promises, really =/
Still, I'm going to look into that regional; I haven't experienced the thrill of roadtripping to a regionals since Yugioh.
Man, that sucks. =S Let me know if you do get something started and we'll plan some trips back down there. It's been awhile since we've last hit up SA.
last time i went to SA was for AOP
Find young blood and introduce them to gaming through this game... Colleges and High School are the place to recruit gamers, if you go to either, you have to be unafraid to just show the game to people.
well thats where most of our playgroup comes from is college of course i live nowhere near texas but still thats where you should start showing off the game send out flyers on campus or in local grocery stores and such...or just show up to gaming clubs that go on somewhere on campus or even at a local high school if you want to go that route....
I learn to play in high school back when set 1 came out although it was in art class lol during exams
