I've been making notes on an encounter/monster sheet but was wondering if someone had done something along these lines already, either in a supplement or as a fan.
What do I mean? I have the Creature Vault cards and plan to use them. I was envisioning a playmat of sorts I could print out to assist with organizing and keeping track of multiple monsters during an encounter. I don't mean the one page sheets found in Core or in SE. I would have places on one sheet of paper to lay perhaps 3 different monster cards. Around the card would be places for creature notes, a list of common cards to use (by name I think, not the actual card printed on them), keeping tracking of ACE used, keeping track of wounds, and a morale tracker at the bottom. If there is room I would have spots for general notes on the encounter.
I would print one (or 2 if lots of different monsters) of these out before play to have ready. Perhaps a couple blank ones ready to be used on the spot if needed. Creature cards would go on the sheet with action cards off the sheet and along the top (with an arrows on the sheet pointing towards that creature's cards). I would only use wound cards to denote criticals (place them under the creature card), wounds would be marked in a box near the creature card on the sheet.
I don't have the Creature Guide, does it have something along these lines? I also don't have the GM's Toolkit. Has anyone already done something like this before?
