Sorry, I didn't get you were asking me to explain the joke (since you didn't quote my joke, but my answer to Einlanzer. So I thought you asked me to explain the latter). You said that you don't have Arkham assaulting other dimensions, and I answered, some days ago, "have you ever met Patrice?", joking on the fact that she's such a powerful character that AOs are risking their lives when she's around, instead of the countrary (AOs stronger than investigators). This made Einlanzer laugh, and that's it
I played her once not so far ago and did poorly(main reason - I failed my personal story).
How do you use her for maximum profit? Collect all the clues available and stay away from harm?
Also, I would be pleased if you'd check my custom institution in the Custom Creations corner.

First of all, you should never fail her personal story. Just take her shopping at the Curiosity shop the first two turns and she becomes immune to failing. It's not hard to do. And then, yes, secondly, all you do with her for the rest of the game is have her picking up clues, and she basically becomes the other player's clue teleportation bank. You can speed up the process of getting players clues by having other players maybe pick up 1-3 clues each. She can fill in their missing clue gaps when they go to seal. That, and her being able to generate usually around 20+clues a game turns the game into a bad joke. Pretty much the only way you can lose with Patrice (presuming you're doing an adequate job with the other investigators) is having extremely bad luck, playing Yibb Tsill (against whom she is *still* very advantageous), or by having a freak storm blow her investigator card into the incinerator, sorry, you need to get out a new investigator now. When possible, I'll just sit her down with a clue generating item and never move her so there's zero risk of her being accidentally devoured. Another extremely safe strategy with her is getting her a retainer from the newspaper and just camping her in the unique item shop while she self generates clues (and eventually gets unique items that further generate clues).

I didn't fail her personal story on intent, I was trying to get some money to finish her personal story, but monsters just kept appearing in my encounters, and she's not that good fighter. Her starting money is 2$, not going to buy much for this.
That's very true, you need other investigators to work for her to have the money to finish her PS. Then she will pay off all others for their efforts. Generally speaking, 10 bucks are enough for her PS to be passed, so it's really possible for her to finish it in the first two turns.
As for me, I lost only three Patrice games, one against Quachil Uttaus + Dagon & Hydra, one against Chaugnar Faugn (again, boosted by Dagon & Hydra) and the last one was against Bokrug. The Bokrug game was really unlucky; the Quachil one was lost in 6 turns because of a gate at Devil's reef; the Chaugnar one was one of the longest I ever played (26 Mythos) and we ended up by losing in final combat, being Dagon able to cripple all the clues we were able to gather.
As for your institution: ok, I'll try to give a look at it later on, tonight

Give her the other investigators' money. Get a bank loan if you have to.

What I probably would have done is had Patrice be the only investigator to gather clues that game. That way whenever Dagon's terror ability triggered, you'd only have to lose 1 clue. Sure, the doom track would probably go up 1-3 times during the game, buuuut, a doom track 10 AO is still beatable (particularly if you have all those bonus clues from Patrice).
I'm suddenly tempted to create a scenario in which Patrice is the AO and Cthulhu, Hastur, Yog, Nyarly, and Shub are the Investigators...

Yep, that was the strategy, but I had a miserable accident with Patrice, being drawn in the Underworld and forced to discard 26 clue tokens by a dam(n) encounter when everyone was about to return to Arkham and put the last three seals.
Anyway, today's game was a *nightmare*, with eight monsters in Innsmouth at the end of turn 1 (Dagon + Hydra, double Mythos zero = Marsh refinery + Marsh refinery, Mithos 1 = Devil reef + 2 monsters in a street area. hahahaha. Victory by sealing in 16 Mythos, with two seals bursted away. Man, a game I started with THREE elder signs)
but, Avi, the new table rocks ::cool::
I'll play very soon Scenario 14!

That actually sounds really hilarious. Especially if you put some thought into it.

Rotflmao ;'D It couldn't've happened to a nicer investigator. Devouring would have been the easier way for the board to deal with her, but no, it decided to kill her with irony :'D

::laughter:: yeah, it was pretty funny. Even if I'd have loved a different ending :-//
The only time I feel pity for the AO (aw, we're going to cream that poor guy) is when I draw Patrice at the start of the game.
Personally, I feel that she is a lot more balanced if she didn't have that clue-generating ability. Allowing other investigators to spend her clue tokens is a useful ability just by itself! Having both is just game-breaking.
But allowing others to spend her clues discourages her from having to enter an Other World. That's not that fun.
I'd rather leave her ability as is, allow others only to spend her clues for skill checks , and then dock her a focus for still having an overpowered ability.

Oh, she'd be a lovely balanced character if that's all she did. But she does that and produces upwards of 20 clues a game...

Or you could give her an untradeable find gate ;') because, you know, why not make her even stronger?
Your version of Patrice would also be interesting.
That is the version I use. It seems to work fine.
Tibs, is your nickname is shorter version of Tibbers?
Julia, I wonder where when does night begins.
"Tibs" is a contraction of my last name.
They call him MISTER Tibs

::laughter:: Trololo, be a little more patient, if you can! It's not a two minute thing commenting on a complex istitution as yours. I'm having some rather busy days, but I'll cover it as promised. Today I'm too dead (it's about 1.20 AM here and I have to wake up tomorrow at 7 ::crying:
, I hope tomorrow to have the time for this.
