Shotgun (Scatter) Question

By Santiago, in Black Crusade

Hi there,

Just reading through the new Scatter Rule and some question popped up....
In the examples below is the way I read it....correct me if I'm wrong...

Pump Action Shotgun

Point Blank Range:
3m orlLess
BS +50, 1d10+7 Damage

Short Range:
4-15m
BS +30, 1d10+4 Damage

Normal Range:
16-60m
BS +0, 1d10+4 Damage

Long Range:
51-90m
BS +0, 1d10+1

Extreme Range:
91+
BS -20, 1d10+1

So my questions:
* Are the numbers above correct?
* Is Extreme Range no longer capped or is het still x4?

Darn...

Long Range should be 61-90m

Unless I am mising something, point blank should be a +40 to hit and short range a +20.

No, those To Hit values are mostly correct; +10 for a Standard Attack Action - so the Normal Range attack should be +10.

Yes I took into account the +10 to hit with the standard single attack.

PBR is actually 2m or less.

It's 3m or less actually.

You would be correct if this were one of the other 40KRPG lines, but in Black Crusade (quoting from pg. 246 of the Black Crusade core under "Point Blank Range"):

"When a character makes a ranged attack against a target that is two metres away or closer , that target is at Point Blank Range"

Emphasis mine.
