FFG announce that there will be a new (reissue of the) core set for call of cthulhu lcg ( http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_upcoming.asp, far down the list). Does anybody know, what the new core set looks like? Is this just a reprint of the core set or are changes made?

I don't know, but I would guess that it would probably have an updated rulebook.

Maybe I should hold off on my 3rd copy of Core until this comes out

But then again FFG usually puts "This is a reprint" on the "expected by" portion of that entry too.

Your guess is as good as anybody's until FFG say one way or the other.

But I certainly would not get my hopes up. If there were major or even slight changes, you can bet FFG would announce it as quickly as possible. They do not like to be scooped by other sources (re: 3x collation distribution in 2010, Nexus Ops, Merchant of Venus)
