2+ Multiplayer Game Rules

By Geistwandler, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hello,

I have not read the entire forum, therefor I am sorry if you probably heard this question a thousand times. Are there yet official rules (not tournament rules) for more than 2 players in a game?

With best regards.

Heres what I have been using

This is a mix of ides from other posts around the place and my own ides.

Each player has their own colour counters used to represent damage/points on the capital you assign one per point of damage when you damage someones capital

Once 2 x (number of players) zones are burning game over and count points
so 3 players would need to have 6 zones burning for game to end
If you have all three zones burnt you are over-run and out of the game.
If you damage your own capital use a normal skull token (from base game)
At the end of the game count the points to determine the winner.
You get 1 point for every point of damage caused to an a enemy capital.
3 Bonus point for causing it to burn put the burning counter under one of your own coloured damage token so you can remember who caused the burn.
You get 3 bonus points for every capital zone on your own capital not burning.
If you deck someone you get 3 bonus points. Then the decked player shuffles their discard pile to create a draw deck
If you are deck youself draw as many cards as you had left then shuffle your discard at the beginning of your next turn.
Developments need to have damage assigned to them before any goes onto the capital. If you can remove a players developments you choose which ones. So that would send any damage on it to the capital.
If you can heal damage on your capital you choose which coloured damage token is removed
We have found this to be quite fun. Though we have only played in 3 player mode. We usually play Orc, Dark Elves/Undead, and High Elves/lizardmen decks and sometimes Dwarfs if we want some cheese. We are really keen to try a four player to see how it pans out.
We found though with this variant that High Elves had an obvious advantage through how much in-direct damage they can dish out. Orc rush was useless as they run out of momentum quick so you have to alter your strategy.
Give it a go and let me know what you think.

Thank you for your replies.
