Anyone have thoughts on what this is? Itami is referred to as a perfect Han'ei. Sounds like he's a kind of clone of the emperor using the emperor's DNA and energy from Naraka. So was he born at the project? Or is he a demon summoned to it?

What does this imply about Iroh?

Questions have been in my head since we got the figures and I read their lore pages... just was reminded after flipping through Rhydderch's companion (which is awesome, everyone should check it out!)

In short, I suspect that Itami existed in Naraka as a pure Oni, and that the HRM somehow recorded (spectrographed) and reproduced elements of the Emperor, and bound Itami to those elements to create a fusion of the body and spirit of both Itami and the Emperor, so that Itami is now a hybrid of the two. Itami's bio implies that the Emperor has been spectrographed before, so it is possible that Iroh is the same as Itami. Maybe he is a hybrid of the Emperor and a famous swordsman.
