So Blackfire pass has no maps. Your thoughts?
It kind of irritates me.

Meh. Detailed maps aren't as important in my games.

It depends. Sometimes maps are very useful and help to paint a picture to the players. Other times, any generic map or just a good description work well. But, I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
I would have expected a map, it does help when your farting overland for a while.
So Jay, finally shelled out for BFP? Living up to your expections? (Absent cartography aside?)
One of my players bought it. I think I'm going to make him run the sessions with a dwarf party and let me have a brief rest. ![]()

Hi lucky you having such nice friends.
Well it kinda sucks having no maps over the area. In fact I thing its sloppy on the behalf of FFG not to include a map. Maps are essential, it helps to paint the surrondings and to avoid misunderstandings, and even better it helps the GM to answer pretty common questions like: where's the nearest town? we need supplies.
Don't like this at all ![]()

Ummm...
Black Fire Pass does come with a map. Its a full page map in one of the books. Now its not a great map in my opinion, but it does cover all the main locations in a not-so-user-friendly kind of way.
The map is not a typical card map like we have seen in previous supplements. Perhaps FFG was tryign to address concerns taht the older maps were too small and instead decided to provide it full size in the book.

Gitzman is right, I think FFG may have got a little burned by the negative reaction to their previous card sized maps. However I wouldn't wait too hard for any proper maps for anything, as I don't think that is the look or kind of detail that FFG are going for. I'm afraid its make your own time or use Gitzmans excellent resource.

Heres what my player had to say about bfp:"Has a ridiculous amount of cool new things for dwarves. Unfortunately they all revolve around new careers and not skills **** it lol. Every one of the Dwarven Jobs are awesome and useful, it's enough to make a Dwarf suicidal, kidding.....mostly. Anyway just thought I'd let you all know."
