Personally, I have a special fondness for Explorators, Navigators and Seneschals. They get to do all the fun, cerebral stuff and leave the untidy things such as fighting to the lowly knaves
Explorator: Go full-on Genetor. Medical mechadendrite, optic mechadendrite and, if Black Crusade is allowed, the delicious new implants from there. You get to be the resident Qyburn. Doubly-so if you go for Willpower and Interrogate.
Astropath: Mind-screwing, man. You can brainwash people, read their minds, control them like puppets. If you can think of it, then you can probably do it.
Seneschal: Faff about and do the plotting and commerce of the group. You get to be the Rogue Trader's (un)trustworthy advisor.
