Is it a Jack Russell Terrier?

The picture sure does look like a terrier.

Though I'm certain most Ratcatchers dogs are complete mongrels.

We use wee little Reichshounds, Talabec Terriers, Stirland terrier, Averchester Terrier, Middenschnauzers, Ostland Russell Terriers, Nordish Cairn Terrier, Ostermark Bull Terrier, Wissen Blue Terrier, or the dreaded, Hochshitzu.

Any little yippie, barky, bitey, feisty little dog will do.

It is indeed a jack russel terrier, or offshot thereof. They were bred for the single purpose of catching rats. Vicious little buggers.

We used them extensively in the "Its a Dog Eat Dog World" sceanrio by samuel kisko.

There are larger wolfhounds as well in that sceanrio. I combined it with "Ravenloft: Howls in the Night" for an outstanding scenario experience (according to my players).
