Hi,
a Targaryen attacker wins the challenge with Drogon. Which one comes first? The response of the dragon or the claim of the plot card?
Thanks in advance

The claim of the plot card. For detailed timing questions, see the official FAQ "timing flow charts"
The following 4 actions happen (in order), and can only be "interrupted" by save/cancel responses.
After all of them have happened, then any passives triggered by any of the above 4 events are triggered, and then after THAT, any responses triggered by the above 4 are triggered. By this time, you've already chosen the character that will die in (2), although he won't leave play until the resolution of all responses/passives triggered by the above 4 events.

Thank you very much
ive always hated the wording of 'challenge result will be implemented'. they should at least include something about 'claim is resolved'. if there is something else that the challenge results include then call it out somewhere specifically.

Frankly I wish they'd taken the opportunity at the re-formatting to LCG to re-template and differentiate between the two types of "claim" and "power."
This card replaces claim with another effect:
War of Five Kings (Event)
Epic Battle
Plot: After the dominance phase this round, there is an epic phase in which each player may initiate a single challenge of his or her choice. Instead of the normal claim effects, any player who loses one of these challenges as the defender must his or her next plot card at random. (Place this card next to your plot deck until the end of the epic phase.)
But, as it specifically replaces claim, I guess the wording you suggest would work just fine.
@Maester_LUke: You mean power as in the tokens and the challenge type and claim as in challenge result and claiming power? Even without being a native english speaker, the context is sufficient to distinguish which is intended in all cases (though translation might actually help, since most languages distinguish nouns, adjectives and verbs more clearly than English).

Context works, but it isn't always clear, even to native English speaker. Hence the number of questions we get here. In both cases, there is little to no connection between the use of the terms, and would have simplified the rules. And agreed, English really isn't the best language to write the "original" rules in.
So, that means"2. challenge result is implemented". haha... i had that as question too.
I also think that the more complex are the wordings the more questions will be. But now i think its too late for a simpler wording of the rules. At least those that raise a ton of questions.
