Hi all, firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong place (not sure how it would be remedied if so), but wasn't sure where else to post. Anyway, I'm looking to at least try and set up a regular gaming community in the area. Was doing a bit of research online and saw some posts by players based in the area; hopefully I haven't missed the boat (or whatever the phrase is), as they seemed to be posted a year or so ago. Was hoping to set up regular games with similar minded players; seems silly not to if there are people out there who play the game.
Live in Redhill and my local store is a walk away, so again seems stupid not to take advantage of that. It's an independent store (so no pesky kids etc.) and if there are enough people interested to get stock from them, I could ask (am quite friendly with the owners so to speak), although admittedly haven't gamed there as much lately as their main support is groups of roleplayers (I'm personally more interested in tabletop, but I do do RPG's). Interest is building up in tabletop so again seems pointless not to go with the flow.
Seems annoying to have to resort to the Internet to find people to play with, but needs must. That probably comes across badly, but it's a shame that there aren't really any local gaming clubs that cater for this system. Am totally genuine, definitely not a spambot, which is probably why I find this a strange experience...
Have purposefully left my email available for people to contact me. Not sure if you can message other members of the forum like other forums, otherwise I'll probably be trying to 'befriend' people. Will also get round to replying to old topics.
Hoping in vain that this will work, otherwise at least I tried and can't ask more than that!!
P.S. Does seem weird to post at this hour but I'm a university student with not much to do!
