My first DT minis painted

By Hans Chung-Otterson, in Dust Tactics

I painted up a squad of Allies this week (really, 3 evenings, which is amazingly fast for me--I started with quick drybrushing & went from there). I haven't painted the bases yet, as I figure I'll leave that for last.

Here's one of 'em, anyway, and I'll post more as I get them done.

I plan on painting up my Allies with mostly this color scheme, but with the colors switched around--so the jackets on one group won't be white, they'll be blue, and the armor on another group will be tan like this guy's backpack, etc.

When you're inserting the images, you can resize them. Just but a width of 640px and you're fine.

Firstly, bravo on the painted figure. Looks good, and nice details on the backpack, either from washing or drybrushing.

As for the IMG code, the easiest way is to click the image icon above the post editor. Once in there and you link your image, you can resize it down to a normalish size(width 500-600) and then have the image link to a large version.

Thanks for the image help, & the compliments!

Anyway, I tried something new with these minis--Nearly all the paint was drybrushed on, and then I just did various washes. It made for an incredibly quick paint-up, and this is the way I'm going to do all of my DT stuff, at least for the big box. Working on my next squad tonight.
