Help with Supplements

By Sigilbeckons, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I apologize if this is covered somewhere else in depth.

I currently own the...

Core Box Set

Player's Guide

Game Master's Guide (and Toolkit)

Creature Guide (and Vault)

Adventurer 's Toolkit

Do I need the Player's Vault or Gamemaster's Vault, or are they pretty much covered by the Core Box Set?

I know I need to actually buy The Gathering Storm, Winds of Magic, Edge of Night, Signs of Magic to get the components, and that's fine I just want to make sure I'm not missing any components from the above two before I move on with my collections.

Leaving The Witch's Song, Omens of War, Black Fire Pass, Lure of Power, and Hero's Call after that.

Thank you for your time...

If you have the core set and the creature vault, the player's vault and gamemaster's vault don't add anything but duplicates and extras.

You can move on to the next ones you have listed. Having just recently acquired them myself, I recommend winds of magic and signs of faith first.

Thank you for the clarification I didn't want to buy copies until the end. My wife is big on social characters so I will be delayed and have to get Lure of Power first. I will however consider your suggestion after that when I begin to purchase the supplements covered in the hardcovers. I'm fortunate not to have any dwarf players (nothing wrong with dwarfs just don't have any players for them) so I can delay Black Fire Pass for a bit.

The vaults are dependent on how many players you have in your group. I would say to get the Game Master Vault just for the GM screen regardless of size. It's not the most useful GM screen ever made, but it's a nice cover for your notes and helps immerse your players into the world.

As for supplements, I would also recommend Winds of Magic and Signs of Faith first. You can get both for cheap at Amazon, and they both are Prime compatable, if you had signed up for that option.

I did get a screen with my Gamemaster's Toolkit, I wasn't aware the Vault came with one as well. Yeah I did purchase another set of dice and Adventurer's Toolkit and have gotten lucky to be able to play with 5 players (the custom sheet Gitzman made with the Basic Cards on it really helpedl). Yeah those expansions are definitely next, even though they are very expensive.
