Seems like once an Lannister opponent kneels a character for an action, you can continually keep that character kneeling with the Lannisport Brothel Location Card round after round. Is this correct? Are there cards to help protect me from this action? Our last game, I lost one of my characters from this endless cycle of kneeling and could not use that card for the rest of the game.... Maybe we were playing the effects of the card incorrectly..... Maybe I just did not have the right card drawn yet to prevent this....

Lannisport Brothel does get to Respond once per round, and yes - during the Standing Phase, it can stand with all the other cards on the table (including the character it chooses) and Respond immediately. It is a very strong effect.

The best ways to get around it are cards that destroy locations and cards that stand characters outside the Standing phase. There are not a lot of either in the Core Set. Once you feel ready to get chapter packs and customize your decks, it will be less of an issue.
