Sacred Pool ending

By Velhart, in Talisman Rules Questions

Hey Guys,

I have a question about the sacred pool ending.

The ending says that you must reach the crown of command with four or more quest rewards.

Q: Must all the quest rewards be face down to complete the game, or can you also have a face up might of giants card, and 3 other face down cards to complete the game.

The ending says nothing that every quest must be face down..

I am playing the game right now, so can someone help me lengua.gif

The ending says only that you don't discard used Quest Rewards but keep them face-down instead. We might add "to remember that you gained them and already received the benefits". Quest Rewards that provide a permanent bonus can't be turned face-down, but they stay in your play area and count as Character's possession.

To win with this ending you must complete 4 Quests to gain a Quest Reward, then reach the Crown in some usual way (gain a Talisman and cross Inner Region, Treasure Chamber, Arnkell/Cloak of Feathers).

oke, so you can still win the game with 3 face down, and 1 face up( who give the character a permanent bonus) .

In other words, all the quest rewards does not have to be face down? You have already complete 4 warlock quest to get the quest rewards, and that is enough to win the game.

No, they don't have to be face down. You have to gain 4 Quest Rewards and get to the Crown.

This is what it's written on the ending card. This face-down thing that bothers you was added to make an important exception to the rule: Quest Rewards are not discarded as usual, but kept face-down instead. There are some Quest Rewards that are not discarded immediately (maybe only the one you mention), but this doesn't change the fact that they are Quest Rewards and you gained them.
