If all vipers have been launched (due to sequential assault crisis cards being drawn) before the pilot characters have a chance to react, are the pilots unable to jump into a viper? Does someone have to go to command to move a viper back to the hanger so the pilot(s) can then relaunch on their turn, or can the pilots spend a skill card to jump into an unmanned viper?

Command doesn't allow you to bring vipers back into the bay. If a pilot wants to get in a viper, you pick one up off the board so that he has one to launch.

Are you sure about that? The rules state that pilot characters "...launches a viper as normal (see the previous section)...", which in turn says "...takes a viper from the 'reserves'..." Nowhere can I find where it says you take a viper off the board and launch yourself in it. The latest FAQ also doesn't address this issue. Personally, I'd want to rule it that the player pilots are screwed until a viper is damaged and repaired until an official answer comes down that says what you stated, or that Command would allow for a Viper to re-board Galactica.

Ah, good. I was checking the rules under vipers, and it didn't mention anything about it there. At least it does get mentioned in the rule book somewhere, even if not on the same page. Thanks!
