I need some clarification when using the Response Catelyn Stark has.

I says you can choose a character for that challenge and that character does not count strength.

Now if the challenge is with one character that has attachments that increase strength, does Catelyn's ability nullify all strength including the attachments?

Yes. That character's strength doesn't count, whatever it is. Since the attachment increases the character's strength (and not, say, the total strength in your challenge), it wouldn't count either. He could also use as many events etc to increase that character's strength, and it would not count either.

If it were to affect only the character and not the attachments, it would have to say "Printed Strength".
