Character tweaks

By Lecram, in Black Crusade

I'm new to these boards and to Black Crusade. I've played Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy but am by no means well versed in the system.

I've gone through character creation and am set on playing an apostate that is aligned with Slaanesh.

I want my character to be involved in <EDIT> Lord over a slave trading/sex trade Empire</Edit>. I want him to have access to lots of henchman to do grunt work, find out facts, put out rumours etc..

I also want him to have access to lots of wealth so that he can indulge all his hedonistic impulses.

With the way that aquisitions work, should I sink most of my xp into infamy? What skills/talents would get me what I need?

I can go into more detail for the characters traits, if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Also, if I've posted this in the wrong place let me know!

Without getting 10 Corruption at char-gen through Prides, etc, you won't be able to start off aligned to a god.

Otherwise, getting lots of Infamy could work, as could getting Commerce, lots of minions, stuff like that.

Note: Why it's true that you most likely won't start of aligned to Slaanesh per the rules, that doesn't mean you still can't be a follower, just means you don't reap the game mechanical benefits of being one... yet.

Other than that, High Fellowship is a given. Likewise, the charm, deceive and commerce skills would be useful, and Inquiry is the go-to skill for spying and interrocgation.

For talents, Excessive Wealth would help model massive riches. Demagogue helps rabble rousing and inspiring your minions, as would it's prereqs of air of authority and inspire wrath.
Radiant presence, while not really immediate useful to your purposes, is very Slaaneshi, and works well with someone who rocks the minions. Unholy Devotion likewise helps enforce that feel.

Peer is extremely useful, as is the Apostate's special ability.

Lastly, minions. Lots and lots of minions.

On top of this, just slap on a bitchin' mustache and you're good to go!

For implants you should check Blade-tines, nerve induction tines and pheromone generator. Small benefits but sometimes they are what make differend in rolls.

So this is what I ended up with. Not sure if I should use "perfection" to increase my INT instead of my Fellowship.

My aquisitions were: refractor feild (30% miss), Phaermones, Best quality flak (to get the +5 charm)

I have no idea what to do with the lesser minion...or if I should just drop minion all together.

Allied skills are 200xp for trained, tier 1 talents are for 250xp.
How did you get 22 Str and WS? You start with 25, -3 from perfection, where is your 2d10 roll?

We did 100 point-buy. I didn't put any points into those traits.

Thanks for catching the xp thing.
