Rains of Autumn question

By Templario13, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Hi

I have a question about this plot and a Greyjoy accesorie.

If a have one Burned and Pillaged in play in an enemy location and i play rains of autumn plot.....does the burned and pillaged -1 malus effect?¿

In rains of autumn says that there are no "bonus" gold incomes but burned and pillaged it´s a malus income.

That´s the question.

Thanks for answering and sorry mi english lengua.gif

The "-1" is technically a gold "Bonus". The Core rules specifically define bonuses

"Income Bonuses and Penalties
Some cards (mostly locations) have a large gold
coin marked with a value of +X or -X in their
rules text. These cards modify the income value
on your revealed plot card, even when kneeling."

So the plot affects those attachment no?

thansk a lot :)

Rains overrides Burns in this instance.

In this case the "-1" would not be a Penalties rather than a bonus??¿?

You're right. In standard English, the word "bonus" always denotes a positive modifier; the quoted passage from the CS rules reflects this. But rules-wise, the technical term "gold bonus" refers to all modifiers in those gold coins, be they positive or negative.
