SPOLIERS AHEAD SPOILER WARNING BEWARE

Having read cursorily about the Screaming Vortex I am checking (double checking) more or less the ways to get in/out of the darned thing.

Seems that the only "officially-stated way" in the book is thru the 13th Station of Passage (K. Expanse). Besides this route, there are several mentions of ways to get in/out thru the Calixis Sector (but where exactly ain't given) & the Jericho Reach (thru the Hadex Anomaly ... but I'm not so clear...)

Can someone please confirm/enlighten?

One is the Forbidden Portal, so long as you can find a way to force it open (nobody has managed this yet) and avoid its guardians (nobody has managed this yet either). Another, and far more likely, is the Gates of Moment - a moon that drifts around the Screaming Vortex, yet appears to exist in several places simultaneously, including within the Hadex Anomaly, and potentially other times and other galaxies. Alternatively, you may want to consider braving the tempests of Harrowed Space to slingshot vessels across the Vortex or to parts beyond.

Also remember that the 13th Station of Passage actually leads to the Maw, otherwise known as the Koronus Passage, between the Calixis Sector and the Koronus Expanse. If you're willing to force your way past Port Wander, you can enter the Calixis Sector that way as well (and the Jericho Reach, if you can find the Jericho-Maw Warp Gate and are willing to brave the defences of the Iron Collar around the Well of Night).

Beyond that, sorcery, daemonic pacts and bargains with the Dark Eldar are amongst the alternatives for getting out of the Screaming Vortex.
