So i wanted to start a knew topic since everyone is talking about who the top characters are in block 3. Legacy format has so many more options to choose from but who do you think the best characters in legacy would be?

Just my top 10 for the best charaters in legacy format? any objextions

Ive been pissing lots people off with 8 hs chaos vega. I made someone fail 2 0 difficult things in one game with all the cc hax. Good times!

Order Alba is another contender, he's just crazy good with LCK and Experienced Combatant.

Original rare Vega off Chaos with all the CChax. There's nothing meaner than throwing down Dark hado, forethought, two foundations to support the forethought AND still have enough cards for Anti K'.

**Nakoruru** is almost always a bad match-up due to her ability to commit the key card, typically a character, before an opponent get's to take their combat phase.

***Yoshimitsu***, who won the first Legacy Worlds, is simply vicious with the current CC hax out there. Combining him with LCK just makes bad things happen quickly.

*Zi Mei* is like Ruru, in that her commital ability can shut down characters, along with things like Yoga Mastery.

**Ken** is still, and will always be, a beast. While he might get hit by Tag Along occasionally, he's playable on all 3 symbols now, making him even worse.

*Dhalsim* is still a nightmare to play against.

Honorable mentions go to:

• Tycho's silly full block
• **Ukyo** discard
• ***Tira***'s partial blocking all day long
• ***J. Talbain*** has no answers, even in legacy
• ::Sakura:: can pick up Replenishment, which is still legal in legacy
• ***Yun-Seong*** off of any symbol, almost too aggressive against the new 6/30 tank characters
• ***Donovan*** and his powerful draw ability

Dark Horses:

• ::Sophitia: and **Athena** ability to refill her hand(s)
• ***Cassandra*** discard for speed, still underrated despite that it won a major event
• *Hugo* and his 40 vitality with vicious legacy symbols
• ***Adon*** 8/22 with all of legacy's old damage/speed pumps
• **Basara** and old school discard is a nasty burn deck
• **Luise** is still the #1 fastest T1 Feline Spike out there, bar none

**Basara** is possibly the most broken character in legacy.

Him + YWNE means you never play a foundation. Ever.

and ***Tire***? Reverse Waterfall + Shinobi Tradition and all of evil and death's ways to protect it's board.

I'd agree with every single one of the above mentions, but I'm surprised K' hasn't had a mention yet with Hop, Anti K', Forethought, AND Dark Hado legal again. He'd be an absolute nightmare, and now that Chaos has LotM as well, I certainly wouldn't count him out!

I gota say K ranks up there, but what about Promo Charlie? I mean, first turn Hop= you're not getting a card. Plus he has DEATH. One of the Primo symbols from legacy.

Oh, and yeah what about Voldo? Can you imagine him with Yoga Mastery and Replenishment? Plus things such as Born to Hunt, Tag Along, Unorthodox Style (I think that's the one that gets cards back from yer discard), and a few other pieces of recurrsion.

One more: Order Mill Promo Alba. Slap in Arrogance, all of Order's commital effects/control, and the INSANE card draw that is his static ability AND Order and Law, and that'll mean that your opponant could be drawing anywhere upwards of 10-25 cards a turn while only being allowed to play one form. Now granted you don't get Revitalize anymore, but you DO get a lot of force your opponant to draw cards things such as Blind Stance and if you staple the new Alba, Hesitation.

In addition to all of the ones already mentioned I like...

Promo Rose- start over and begin anew make for some annoying matches. the fact that she can make you check your foundations only makes it worse.

Promo Haohmaru- has chaos and order coupled with a deck search ability that gets the combos rolling quicker.

Promo Sakura- all three of her symbols have only gotten stronger.

Promo Talim- beastly aggro, nuff said.

Super Rare Vega- chain throw and gyulkus are still stupid with him.

Tycho still has a good handful of first turn kills / first turn lock outs available too him in legacy. Least untill they change him with the PA rerelease.

7 hs Cody I think will always get my vote for best aggro character in legacy. He pretty much has the ideal aggression line up as it stands, regardless of what gets printed in the future, in Chain throw and Absurd strength. There will never, ever be a bettter attack and cody is just ideal to run it.

And anyone with an 8HS is potentially compeittive in legacy i would say. Since legacy is so brutal and more 30 life characters can be taken out turn 1 and onwards, i would say why handycap yourself to a lower hand size when your life total really dosent matter.

My biggest Legacy scare currently is new Chun Li with access to LCK. Despite Yoga Mastery and the draw available, turn one and two LCK's could cause havoc in the format.

Likewise Kasumi Suzaku, Absurd Strength and Chain Throw.

Fred's comment on tanks is spot on. In Legacy vitality feels irrelevant. It's all about the character ability and available cards.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Talbain =/

I'm personally really looking forward to playing Legacy soon. Nothing like Cervantes with even better control cards, and nothing I love more than ridiculous control with *Donovan*.

SR Sagat is also up there. Double Timmy, wheeeeeeeeeee!

some of the scariest block 3 cards in legacy: both J. Talbain's, starter sakura, disney vega, zi mei, and new chun li.

i also gotta put up some dark horses for my list:

***Ryu***: can use anti k' and then scoop it right back into his hand; same thing with yoga teleports and YWNE.

5 dot Cervantes: immortality locks, nough said

*Hanzo*: eight hand size evil characters can be just plain mean.

Makato: fortune and glory

Miser: still just plain good

*Sagat* is still a monster.

New hugo with fortune and glory might be funny.

MY money is on the New Chun Li all the way with LCK, Chain Throw, and Infiltrating in her corner your opponent will be building their foundation base all day long while you through 5- 11 damage attacks at them every single turn which knocks a 30 Vit character down very quickly.

ask anyboyd about legacy ibuki 4 dot. 4 start over and 4 infiltrating. GG.

craziness as well ensues with victor and defender, lotm and unorthodox style. add in mega spike or jaw smash for added lollipops. he can also mill you with the order fop and re readying with reanimated LOL.

tira and reverse flayer, shoulder rush, chain throw and hammer will always be GG's.

promo ukyo with psycho focus is disguisting. turn one all day.

talbain with replenishment is amazing, mill with vast, blind stance and anti social.
