so, just a few questions, that crazy do that i do do

By brewmaster_vitty, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

sorry for the awkward title, was having trouble thinking of a topic title, but i do have a few questions to get a feel for things on these forums.

originally, the first reason i registered here was because me and my group have a lot of fancy homebrew stuff, and my houserules alone have been the stuff of legends (for better or worse), and we wanted to share them here since there really ins't as much of an infrustructure here for that kind of thing (like, for example, what wizards has for it D&D community). and at first i was rather exited to see how everyone here interpreted the game and begin exchanging stuff.

but then i noticed; you guys are a tough crowd, and the number of different thought wavelengths here is intimidating. not that these are bad things, but it tells me i really should ease my way into things before i start making a real pest of myself with stuff nobody wants to hear. especially with the way some people can be on forums sites.

SO, the real meat of the situation is plain and bluntly: my group has tons of homebrew, we need some help testing it, and we would also like to share it for the sake of sharing it of course. but would anyone here be able to help, and also would anyone her be bothered by such behavior, as i can be painfully blunt sometimes.

aside from little things like homemade monsters and ki techniques (as i'm sure just about everyone has plenty of those.) i can offer more in depth combat maneuvers, martial arts, ki technique effects, and classes. we are still working on ki and nemesis abilities, i want to see just how much nemesis can do before i screw around with it.

i will gladly accept any constructive input and will also be more than willing to hear what other homebrew you guys have. unless you guys think this is a bad idea, then i shall retract my efforts. also, i'v been known to disapear if ignored, just to throw that out there.

I'm always interested in stuff like that. I really dig Anima for what it allows characters to do, but I'm not 100% sold on the setting, so homebrew stuff is always interesting (to me anyway).

I may not like some of your stuff, but I won't be a ****** about it. :) I've been toying with a homebrew myself for reskinning the game to run more 'traditional' fantasy style games (you know the type, with long underground corridors and elves and dwarves etc). I may post some of that myself at some point.

Anyway, welcome aboard!

I promise I won't be a ****** on purpose, but you know accidents happen. gui%C3%B1o.gif

My setting started out close to the book but has diverged more than a bit. I'm very interested to see what you've done with yours.

Although a long time gamer of Palladium and D20 Modern, I am new to Anima. I have yet to really come up with anything "home brewed"... yet.

I would be glad to see your material though.

cool! then i think the first thing i will try to do is put together the martial arts i have in a coherent fashion, they will be in the dominus exxet style, but they are still usable in the old style with a little conversion. give me a day or so, and thanks in advance for your help.

old style = expert level

advantages of expert level, but the prereqs of base level.
