Questions about how to resolve the multiple copies of Forced Effects and Constant Effects at the same time.

How to resolve the multiple copies of Forced Effects and Constant Effects at the same time?

For example:

Q1:

Grimgor’s Camp
Kingdom. Lower the cost of the first % unit you play each turn by 1.
If I have 2 copies in play, when I play the first Orc unit in this turn, how much does the cost lower? 1 or 2?

Q2:

CS107 Vile Sorceress
Quest. Forced: After your turn begins, one target unit gets –1 hit points until the end of the turn.

If I have 3 copies in play, how many hit points does the target unt lose? -3 or just -1?

Q3:

CS10 Dwarf Ranger
Scout.
Quest. Forced: After one of your other DW units leaves play, deal 1 damage to one target unit or capital.

If I have 3 copies in play and one of my DW unit leave play, how many damage can I deal? 3 or 1?

Q4:

CS40 City Gates
Forced: After your turn begins, place the top card of your deck into this zone as a development.

If all of my zones have City Gates, how to place the top card?

If I´m not mistaken (wich i hope I´m not xD), all the copies trigger. Thereby all the copies have the chance to make their effect (in the case of the forced effects, its not a chance, it´s mandatory). So the short answer to all questions is yes, they all do their effect.

So, if you read the FAQ, under the simultaneous effects it says that each player takes turns resolving his own effects, until there´s nothing else to play. That´s for the forced and passive effects.

For actions, you simply activate 1 after the other in a chain.

For particullar cases:

Q1: 2

Q2: 1 unit with -3 or 3 units with -1

Q3: same as above

Q4: you take the top 3 and put them 1 in each zone. You must decide where you are putting each before looking at them though

There´s 1 "exception" to this rule. The card effects that say "the first damage token done to your capital is redirected to...". In case of having more than one such effect, you decide wich effect to trigger, but since you can recive "the first damage token" only once per turn and you can redirect the damage only once, the rest of the copies are useless. There are some simillar situations too I don´t remember, but they all have to do with 1 damage received this turn and are pretty obvious.

Hope it helped :)

Technically, Grimgor's Camp has a constant effect that does not have a trigger condition. If there's more than one of those, they aren't considered simultaneous, you just apply the net of them. And indeed lower the cost of the first unit by 2 in this case.

For Q2, you resolve them one after the other. So it can be any combination, including -2 to one unit and -1 to another. Note though that since they are forced effects, you have to resolve them. So if your opponent has only one unit with 1 HP, the first one destroys it, and you will have to pick your own units as targets for the other two, you can't just say the opposing unit gets -3 HP.

For Q3 it is again important to remember that these are separate effects. If you want to use them to destroy an opposing unit with toughness 1, you won't be able to, since you deal 1 damage three times, not 3 at once.
