We're having a small disagreement about the immediately part. We had someone who had the kill an enemy quest, they landed on a draw 2 space and the first was an enemy, then there's a pool of wisdom as well.

A couple of us believe that as soon as the creature was killed, the player gets teleported back to the cave then and does not encounter the pool. While the player on the quest, says that they finish the whole encounter.

Just looking for clarification.

I believe you get jumped to the Cave right after defeating the Enemy, no chance to sip from the Fountain of Wisdom.

Correct. The Warlock Quests are often completed when they also cause detriment. The Warlock's Cave space instructions say that the Warlock teleports you immediately after you've completed the quest. Immediately means: stop anything you're doing or about to do, go to Warlock's cave, receive a Talisman and encounter the space.

Considering his behaviour, the Warlock is more like a mischievous Imp than an old man with powerful magic, dispensing his wisdom to the questing Characters.

Correct up to the last part of the sentence. When you are teleported to the Warlock's Cave, you receive your Talisman but you DO NOT encounter the space or a character in the space. Your turn immediately ends as soon as you get your Talisman!!!
