Ork Kustom Bitz

By 7explorer, in Rogue Trader Rules Questions

My questions concerns two particular ork weapon upgardes.

First is the kombi-shoota upgrade. The weight addition is listed as "per linked weapon", so I believe this means you add the weights of each weapon together, but my real questions is do both weapons have to be of the same craftsmanship quality? I would think this would be true in the case of combinding two of the same weapon together to recieve the Twin-Linked quality.

Second is the bigga klip upgrade. I know what this does, but the weight addition is confusing. [x 1 1/2] <-- What does this mean?

Basic math.

Multiply the weight of the clip by 1.5. So a clip that has a weight of 2 x 1.5 = a weight of 3 = bigga klip.

As tot he first question...

Mechanically it's much easier if you require the same quality. With orks, who knows if that really matters.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Another question for you all; is it stated any where how many different upgrades can be installed on the same weapon?

Aside from the usual only one gun sight can be mounted on a weapon', no. I wonder if you could argue taking Bigga Klip twice for a Twin Linked Weapon?

I believe a Twin-Linked weapon does not use two seperate clips but rather a wide singular clip (which in the case of Solid Projectile or Bolt, half of the total ammo would be on each side) that feeds into the breaches of both barrels; therefore you woud still use the standard ammo amount when doubling.

This is correct.
