I'm currently making a Chaos Chosen, more specifically one of the Iron Warriors. I want to be the bad ass Heavy Weapon dude of the group, but unfortunately the Legion Heavy Bolter isn't available as a starting item. Instead I want to use a Missile Launcher (As its a Rare item), except that there isn't a Legion Missile Launcher option, so technically my Chaos Space Marine woulden't be able to use it. Is it possible to "Upgrade" a weapon to be useable by a space marine. Like have a missile launcher with a larger handle so it can be used by a Space Marine? Another thing is that I don't have the option for a missile rack of some kind. A Space Marine Missile Launcher can have up to 8 rockets in it. In this game though, it dosen't seem to be an option. Then again, with my Rapid Reload ability it will only take a half action to reload a Missile Launcher.

You can get a Legion Heavy Bolter with a downgrade.

EDIT: Also, regarding the missile launcher, I think it's just the same for both humans and Astartes, and thus you can use it freely.

Why do you say you can't use non-Legionnaire weapons? The rules just say that the weapon might require modifications for use with Legion Power Armour, as little as removing the trigger guard.

You could use the Astartes Missile Launcher from Deathwatch with your GM's permission, eh?

When the inevitable BC version of Into the Storm and Rites of Battle arrives it will no doubt also have a lot of expanded options and gear.

Err...I of course mean Ancient Warrior rather then Veteran of the Long War.
