Do you think it would work as competitive deck ? Would you change anything ?

Maybe I should drop Aegon't Hill since I already have plenty of expensive locations?

Also Shadow of the East - I thrown it in since it can trigger King's Landing but maybe classic Meretheesee Brothel would be better ?

And Myrish Villa - hmm maybe Twilight Market would be better choice since Villa will work only on relatively small amount of cards.

I'm currently running a Summer-based burn deck that I enjoy quite a bit. I would love to give it some more "oomph" with shadows based cards + The Dragon Pit, but the hardest part of splashing in shadows is the cost. Myrish Villa, for example, works fantastic in my deck because it lowers the cost by two. Shadows, however, require gold to put into shadows, and gold to bring out of shadows. And many effects require influence - dragon thief, ambush characters/flame kissed (the best way to run it), and horseback archers for example. This is the duel-resource curve that Targ is notorious for, and it looks like your deck is going to have that problem. I would imagine you can partially combat that by running high-income plots (which you appear to be doing), not to mention the black raven's bonus.

What is your game plan? How do you plan on winning games? I think the purpose/goal of Targ burn is to typically burn away characters and gain power through unopposed. Can your deck do that? How will you deal with a competing control deck like a Lanni Hyper-Kneel, or even another Targ burn deck? How would you handle an aggro deck, like the ever popular Martell Summer? Many of your characters are strength 2, so venomous blade will pick them off before they have a chance to do anything. And a swarm of characters will easily overrun the board, which makes burn almost useless.

For your deck, I might substitue Aegon's legacy with The Hatchling's Feast since you're running 2x The Red Keep. I would also drop Street of Steel for a Twilight Market to reduce shadows costs, even though it's limited. And if you're running Dragon Pit I think Threat from the North should definitely be included, and Thundering Calvary as well. Both of these will effectively handle "swarm" decks that are desinged to get a bunch of 1 and 2 strength characters on the board to make challenges and soak claim. Threat from the North + Dragon Pit will prevent their 2 strength characters from entering the board for a turn, leaving you only their heavy hitters for a turn. That's when you try to hit them with the unopposed. Same thing with Thundering Calvary. When Dragon Pit is in play and they enter the board, they're going to clear out all of your opponent's strength 2 and lower characters. Pretty rad.

Basically, I would figure out what you want your deck to do, and drop anything that doesn't do that thing. Sorry if that's not helpful, I'm far from a great player and don't have many ideas. But I love Targ, and am always willing to try and help when I can!

Well I haven't played shadows deck yet so this was my first try ;)

I started with the idea of using shadow mechanics then looking at agenda I kinda though that City of Shadows isn't really that amazing so I started having fun with KoS and KoHH - KoHH would be too slow but KoS gives me additional income and additional draw in addition to King's Landing.

Gameplay plan was a rather generic try to control board with burn and attachment hate and slowly build up power through unpopposed.

As for rest I implemented most of changes:

Plot:

removed Building Season to add Threat from North

now this leaves me with one dilema: Loyalty Money Can buy or Retaliation ?

Characters:

added 2x Thundering Cavalry in place of 1 x Warlock and Hatchling (2 gold for 2 STR twin icon is kinda meh).

Now I have two warlocks of Quart left - maybe it would be better to replace them with Silent Sisters ?

Locations:

I dropped 2x Aegon Hills ,1x Villa and Streets of Steel to add 2x Twilight Market

I was going to drop all Villas but they will be needed for Thundering Cavalry.

Events:

Removed 1x legacy added 2x Feast hmm I'm not sure if i should remove more legacy's as they are like 0 cost Flame Kissed more or less.

So finally it looks like this:

I disagree with adding the Thundering Calvary. They are expensive and burn needs a lot of pieces working together to work effectively. I think they are more useful out of an Army build that runs a little bit of burn to handle weenies. Twilight Markets are probably a good idea, and I would keep Aegons Hill... killing characters from hand while constantly burning out the board can run your opponent out of guys pretty quickly. You can also use it to get rid of Armies and other high-STR characters that you would have a hard time burning.

I grew really fond of the Warlocks when I was running a Shadows build a while back. A 2nd turn City of Lies when you have Warlock in Shadows already can really do some damage, especially against those Bara rush locations. Even if there is nothing in Shadows you can still hit someone's Limited gold location or River Row and slow them down a bit.

Given your complete lack of 2-claim plots, Retaliation would be a better choice.
