strenght at the crypt

By Firestoker, in Talisman

Hello I'm new to talisman so maybe my question has an obvious answer

When you substract your strenght total in the crypt from the roll of three dice,

you count your characters strenght, your extra counters but do you also count your

strenght from objects like swords or an axe?

And if you are allowed to do this, does this mean that when you have gathered three

swords you can count plus three or are you only allowed to add one like in a battle(except for the warior who coul add two).

And if you have a mule would it be a good idea to stock up on swords so you could add all of them to your total?

Don't think weapons help in Crypt as they state bonus in battle.

Indeed. They do not help at the Crypt.

I concur with the above responses that you cannot use swords, or any items that add strength in battle to count for your roll.

However, items such as the Ring (which adds 1 Strength and 1 Craft) would work.

Also, unless you are the Warrior, keep in mind you can only attack with one weapon at a time, so hoarding the swords might be good to keep them away from other players, or to turn into gold, but ultimately will not do a lot in terms of game play.

Cheers!
