Movement & Jumping Question???

By Maelstrom, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

  1. In the corebook on page: 54

Under "Movement Value" - last sentence it says -- " This ability is modified by the Athleticism Secondary Ability"

Looking in the description of the Athleticism ability, there is nothing in it that says how it modifies movement.

  1. In the corebook page: 54

Under "Jumping" - " This ability is modified by the Jump Secondary Ability "

Looking in the description of the Jump ability, there is nothing in it that says how it modifies Jumping.

Am I missing something here or looking in the wrong section?

Please help! I am going to be GM'ing my first Anima game tonight!

In Core Exxet exists tables for this parts.

Swordwraith has written about it in a thread in this forum:

http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=85&efcid=3&efidt=404842

Their is also a Link to a Download (don't know, if link is broken or not) for the tables for running and jumping.

Those tables would have been nice for FFG to include in the Corebook I paid $60 for :)

Where can Core Exxet be obtained in english?

Core Exxet is the "revised edition" of the core book. And to this moment, it isn't translated to english.

Not as such, but if you look around the boards people have posted many changes, such as;

Skills: now you gain 5 +10 bonuses and 2 inherent bonuses to be used on skills every level.
Attribute Checks: instead of rolling 1d10 and trying to get under your stat you now roll 1d10+your stat.
Elric of Melniboné is translating the changes to spells, most of it is finished here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=85&efcid=3&efidt=524929

Other posts with information is found here or there. However I have yet to see anyone compile them into a single place.
