an attack that deals ki damage to someone without ki...

I'm looking at the master art suyanta, and trying to make an ars magnus that does something similar: damages a targets ki reserves. but something i cannot seem to locate are rules as to what happens if such an attack strikes a creature or character without use of ki.

Theoretically any creature with a soul and a physical body still has ki, they just can't use it, so does that mean the attack drains this theoretical pool still? or does that damage produce a different effect all together?

And if the first is true, should i treat a character without ki control the same as one with it when the threats of low ki levels comes into play?

I will more than likely come up with a suitable answer to this for myself, but i want to know what you guys think or if you know anything i may have missed on the issue.

So: People without "Use of Ki" and "Ki Control" have also Ki reserve. So you can "absorb" Ki points from them. But creatures without a soul (like a chimera from the Creation-Path or most undead creatures) haven't Ki. If you manage, that the ki points of such a creature "vanish" (through "destroying" this points or "absorbing"), the creature lose instead 5 LP for each Ki point it would lose.

The last part (about the creatures without soul) can be read in the Dominus Exxet Page 4 "Ki in Beings without Souls".

To the part with low Ki: I would say, yes, someone without "Ki control" would get the malus, if his Ki reserve drops to 10 or less, because Ki should be something of a spiritual energy and if you have none spritial energy, it is bad (people with "Ki control" have the ability to get to their spiritual energy and use them).

whoa, i can't believe i overlooked that in DE, thanks dude.

This is slightly off topic from the official question: but how could a Chimera not have a soul?

Otherwise I completely agree (Although I HOUSERULED the low Ki and Zeon rules out of my game, but that's just me)

Sorry, my bad. I meant "Create Monstrosity", not "Chimera" (have written the spell name from my memory, which seems not very accurate ;-) ).
