Martell house just entered to our gaming group and allready in first gamenight we found cards that we undrestood differently

So Snakeskin Veil attachment says that character is immune to opponent's non-plot card effects. Will this card make character immune to deadly allso?

Certainly. Deadly is a card effect. It is not a character ability, and it is not a triggered effect, so characters with immunities to those would still be affected, but it certainly is a card effect.
