Draw Cap

By ktei2008, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Did I misread the rule book or there is just no draw cap? If you put a bloodthister in your Quest zone, does that mean you can get 6 cards every turn? In that case, you and your opponent both have the chance to draw too many cards in a turn and that may make some cards like Scout a bit useless... I'm still new, so if I'm wrong, please correct me.

That's one of the good things about this game : mostly every unit and support can make you draw or stack resources, so you can put everyone in your quest phase to draw a lot, with only 3 resources, or play a lot of resources for 1 card to draw. It's up to your strategy. So no there is no draw cap...

But... you may lose when your deck is empty, that's a defeat condition, so if you draw a lot and cannot burn enough opponent's zone, you may lose.

About Scout keyword. It is one of the best keyword in the game (Necromancy might be second), because discarding an opponent early in the game forces him to draw more cards, so he would have to build up his quest zone, and if you target this zone, destroying enemy units or supports, he will draw few cards and keep discarding some with your scout unit.
