Card Art

Hmm. I think from what I've seen sofar. I like:

Knights of the Storm (gotta love the knights charging through that lightning and stuff. looks pretty bad@$$ )

Ser Preston Greenfield (KOS version) (Cool white knight look )

Ser Balon Swann (Awsome winged helm)

Anything by Michael Komark

I'm fond of a lot of what Tomasz Jedruszek's done for the game. I think my favorite from him is The Battle of Ruby Ford:

I think the art on that is just amazing--I've been using it as my desktop for the last couple weeks--and I really love the orange ravens that go along the side of that card. It's just beautiful.

Eldon Estermont's another favorite of mine.

there are lots of arts I love... all Morano ones, Laughing Storm, future Tyrion and Tywin ecc ecc...

but the first came me to mind is Cat 'o Canals... I love the art and I love Arya Stark

Tomasz Jedruszek's is probably my favourite artist so far Alpha, also Morano's are superb, some of his art is quite moody and atmospheric, which I like. I need to sit down one night and really study the artists and there work, so many lovely cards.

Morano = Tomasz Jedruszek :)

Oh, sorry, I'm still fairly new, if I can use that as an excuse. You know I thought something was strange as when I entered a Tomasz Jedruszek gallery, the site rediercted me to a Morano page. I just based my assumptions on Morano from the pictures there, which in hindsight are a lot like Jedruszek.

I really need to get my cards out and spend the night studying the artwork and artists. I'm always drawn to the cruder brush strokes as opposed to the really fine detailed cards, not that there any better or worse, just my preference.

Oh, there is one I really dont like, cant remember who's deck its in but Im sure it involves a Green dragon that looks like its dancing in a town square and its very cartoony. Not keen at all.

I'm pretty sure you mean this card. It's really awful:

green hatchling from defender cycle... horrible!!!

I think i can only narrow it down to artists, in no particular order:

Tiziano, Franz Miklis, Michael Kormarck, Chris Griffin, Morano, Roman v. Papsuev (aka Amoka, who hasn“t done any artworks lately for AGOT, but a lot of stuff in the I&F time).

Maybe one of my highly favored best artworks for AGOT is Jaime sitting on the iron throne by Michael Kormarck. The artwork can be seen on the card "there are no man like me" http://www.agotcards.org/card/nset/11/2865 .

There are so many, but if I have to pick only one: Tyene Sand

Single overall favorite:

Katherine Dinger's "Cersei Lannister" (AToT).

Just one of the most beautifal women I've ever seen (apart from my wife, of course!) and an excellent portrayal of that wicked *****...

Other than that, just about anything from Tomasz J (his Deluxe Expansion box covers are amazing) and Franz Miklis (his landscapes/skies/castles are breathtaking) are among my fav's.
