A question about Hoss

By Niko2996, in Tannhauser

Perhaps this question has already been placed, but I didn't find it.

the special object of Hoss, Prescience, says: "when you are declared the target of an attack, you may immediately move into any empty circle adjacent to you in any direction you could legally move. if this movement invalidates the attack, the attacker may choose a different legal target or he must waste his action and not attack at all"

So, my question is: If Hoss is declared the target of an attack, can I move it into an adjacent circle where there is the movement penalty?

I would say Yes he could since the rule for the ability does not mention Movement Points

I can only support Nhoj. The ability says "any empty circle" without mentioning movement points or movement penalties.

Yes, you need only one movement to come in circle with rubble, but you need 2 movement points to cross it. You need only one movement when you start from a circle with rubble to another circle.

Carlos, I don't understand what you mean here. From my understanding (and this is a side issue from the original question- which I agree with the first two responses):

Entering a circle with rubble costs 1 EXTRA movement point (thus entering one costs 2 movement points instead of the usual one)

Entering a circle with "double rubble" costs 2 EXTRA movement point (thus entering one costs 3 movement points instead of the usual one)

Leaving a circle has no effect on movement cost, since entering the circle is the only time you pay movement points.

That was my understanding as well.

I'd say yes. While this may happen during you turn (Counteratatck, Overwatch Attack), its simpler if you think of it as a free movement outside of you turn.

Thank you for answers.

@ diversionArchitect

You said excatly what I mean, sorry for my English.
