Can I then use Elena's enhance to give the original Spinning Beat multiple 1 and then play that multiple enhance as well?

as long as you have given her Void through her support, No Eggs or Seal of Deprivation, yes you can. there is no restriction that she cant have multi twice on it outside of 2 other attacks being before it in the card pool. Do note there is no rule that says there cannot be multiple instances of a keyword ability on a card, see Mai with cards that already have stun and Chun-Li5 with Kicks that have multi, etc.

i could be completely wrong, but i thought i remembered reading on the old STG boards that if a keyword ability had a different value, then it was considered 'not the same keyword' so Multiple: 1 and Multiple: 2 would be two 'different' keywords?

They are two different instances of the same ability. They are played separately and as such are canceled separately.

Yes you can however play an ability that add say multiple 1 to an attack that has already multiple 2, but not Elena's ability.

Multiple 1 and multiple 2 when present on the same attack are 2 separate keyword when playing them, but again, Elena's ability refer to the keyword alone, not keyword + value.

nothing to "see" - it's spelled out in the ability clearly.

elena cannot give multiple to an attack that has it already. period.
