Dreadfort:
Response:
After you play or take control of a House Bolton character with STR 3 or higher, draw 1 card.
Roose Bolton
Response:
After you win a challenge in which Roose Bolton participated, all players take control of each character they own currently in play.
It seems to me that intuitively, if Roose Bolton attacks and no characters change control, the dreadfort wouldn't trigger. However, by the wording of both abilities, attacking with Roose Bolton (and winning) causes me to "Take control" of all my characters (Even if I already have control), thus triggering the dreadfort simply by virtue of Roose (S3) winning.
Which interpretation is correct, and, if the former, why?
Edit: Some other card wordings which suggest the latter;
In Ramsay's Name: Any Phase: Until the end of the phase, each time a House Bolton character changes control, that character claims 1 power.
(Specific to CHANGING control)
Dubious Loyalty: Response: After you win a challenge in which attached character participated take control of attached character if it is not under your control.
(Specifies "if not under your control")

> An effect says "choose and kneel a character." You are allowed to "choose and kneel" a character that is already kneeling, but the effect is not considered to have been successful. Since the chosen character did not change status to "kneeling" when the effect resolved, there is no valid "after a character is knelt" response opportunity - because the effect is not successful.
Same situation here. You "take control" of Roose by triggering his effect, but since the status of control did not change, it is not considered to have been successful and thus, no valid "after you take control of a character" response opportunity is generated.
