1) if a hero has guard, and it is presently the OL's turn. If the OL passes by that hero, but has no intention to attack the hero, can the hero do an interrupt and attack at that moment the OL is adjacent (assuming melee attack in this example)? I guess this would also be the same if the OL moves within range of a magic/ranged hero. The way our group has played thus far in our first few games is the OL has to attack, but I have suspect we are doing this incorrectly.
2) I had a situation where I was playing a monster with reach and sweep, and there was a hero with guard on it two spaces away. When I declared an attack on that hero, the hero wanted to activate its guard and interrupt to make an attack. This hero only has melee attack, and since the hero is not adjacent to this monster, I said the attack could not happen. I also thought the player would not be able to use a fatigue to move one space and then make the interrupt, since the rulebook says fatigue points can be used at anytime during the heros turn to move (but this was the OL's turn). So, I ruled that the hero could not spend a fatigue for movement when activating guard. Is this correct?
3)Can named monsters open rune-locked doors (assuming they've already been unlocked)? If so, where is the ruling/source on this? The only reference I see to this is in the rulebook on page 13, where theres a note that "monsters can never open or close a rune-locked door". A person in our group thought he read somewhere that named monsters can open rune-locked doors that were previously unlocked.
4) Know of any recommended OL strategy hint sites or threads. I would like to beef up my knowledge to give my group a bit more of a challenge. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
